Erdem's Resort Collection 2013. According to Sarah Mower of Vogue, this Resort collection of London based, Canadian Fashion designer, Erdem Moralioglu is "a truly delightful bouquet of clothes." Besides all of the floral prints in the collection, the design was partly inspired by Queen Elizabeth II as seen in the simple silhouette, tweed and pastel colours of the clothes. The collection was also inspired by Upper East Side ladies photographed sitting in their well upholstered furniture. Then lastly, the collection was inspired by the Amish women of the United States who are famous for their patchwork quilts. We will not see any quilts in this collection but Erdem applied the patchwork in some of the dresses as you will see below. Here are some clothes from the collection that I wish I can wear, if my budget permits. I have grouped the clothes with some flowers that I photographed from our own garden. Which clothes do you like from Erdem's Resort Collection ? I like them all! This collection is just beautiful and romantic! Blue Flowers from our garden. Pink and some light blue flowers in our garden. 'We’ve had a big quilting bee at the House of Erdem recently,' Erdem laughed. “There’s a lot of patchwork and embroidery going on. I don’t really know what you’d call it—Old Lady meets Amish? But what I want to show is how someone can wear it in a serious, grown-up way—and how someone else can do it in a bonkers young way, too.' (Vogue.com). Little light blue flowers in our garden. Pink flowers in our garden. Save the best for last, the lace dress. The floral shoes in this collection are gorgeous! Looks like the biggest street style star of New York is winter-white denim.
How to wear it right now? With cold-weather statements: leather, shearling,...
Stunning pictures:)

First of all I want to say great blog! I had a quick question
ReplyDeletethat I'd like to ask if you don't mind. I was
interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing.
I've had trouble clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out there. I do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or tips? Kudos!
