Summer Browns

Fendi "Anna" Bag, Leopard print espadrilles by J. Crew and leather sandals by J.Crew.

This summer I am just drawn to browns. I finally bought my  Fendi "Anna" Bag which I have been liking for some time now. I like the Fendi Anna bag because it has the two toned-colour style, it has the hobo style handle for hand held and the shoulder strap too. So it is multi-purpose, boxy style and also classic. Then when I was in Los Angeles last month, we visited the J.Crew shop at The Grove Mall near Beverly Hills. At J.Crew I purchased these two shoes, one in Leopard Print espadrilles with 3" heels and the Brown leather sandals which I both love and enjoy wearing this summer. These accessories are perfect to wear with a dress, with denim or even with summer shorts.  I can also wear the Leopard print espadrilles for fall as it has closed toes. So what style and colour are you drawn to this summer?

What do you think of my blog re-design? I changed it to a more minimal, professional  and clean look.

The Grove Los Angeles

The Grove Mall, Los Angeles.

The Grove Mall near Beverly Hills in Los Angeles is one of my favourite Malls in California. It is like a small village with lots of shops, outdoor restaurants, fountains, markets and  cinemas. It has so many shops and entertainment facilities that what I am sharing here is just the icing on the cake. It is huge, right in the heart of Los Angeles. The place is also full of fashionable locals enjoying their shopping and just hanging out in one of the outdoor restaurants all around the mall. Both The Grove and The Americana Mall at Bland in my previous blog post last Tuesday are both owned  and managed by the Caruso Group. There are so many shops in this mall (click the link above for the list). When we visited here on a Saturday, we visited the American Girl which is so famous and in high demand in the U.S.A for their custom made dolls and stylish outfits. We also visited J.Crew, Barney's Co-op, Nike, Nordstrom, Crate and Barrel, a huge Barnes and Noble and then when we were tired and hungry walking around, we had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory.  At The Cheesecake Factory, we had those huge American sandwiches and of course for our dessert, we tried their Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake. Well, this is a satisfying way to end our vacation in Los Angeles. I will visit again!

Los Angeles Views

LAX Airport, Los Angeles, California.

Here are some pictures that I photographed upon arrival in Los Angeles, California. Please pardon the blurry pictures as I photographed them using my Blackberry. But as you can see in the pictures, Los Angeles was blessed with the golden sunny and warm weather. Good thing, the weather was not too hot. When we were in Los Angeles, the temperature was between 69 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. It wasn't too bad. My two uncles met us in the airport then instead of driving us through the freeway, we drove along the side streets of Los Angeles to avoid the famous freeway traffic. Luckily, on the way to their house, we passed along Melrose Ave, Wilshire Boulevard and the famous Sunset Boulevard which I am sharing here. I am featuring here some views of Los Angeles, with its golden sunny weather and its palm trees, a luxurious hotel that honours the privacy of the Hollywood stars that stops by, an American Diner, a film school where dreams begin to come true and of course only in Los Angeles, a Movie Star Maps stand available right on the Sunset Boulevard. Too bad, no Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Gerard Butler or Robert Pattinson sightings during my arrival.  Los Angeles is truly the land of the Golden Sun!
