Blossoming of Spring by Chanel

It was love at first sight when I saw the Chanel's Blossoming of Spring makeup collection at Holt Renfrew in Toronto. The colour palette of the collection are all pastel colours in pinks, light blue, light green, taupe and deep purple to illuminate the eyes and the face. Even the nail polish collection are in spring colours including yellow and fuchsia. I just want to purchase the whole collection to be instyle for spring. Just seeing the collection makes me so excited and gives me a refreshing feeling for spring.

This whole collection was inspired by the colours of the city of Naples in Italy.

Chanel's Fall-Winter Collection: Travel Diary

The Fall Season is almost here as we can feel the chill coming in day after day. Chanel has released their 2017 Fall-Winter make up collection inspired by the Travel Diary of Chanel's make-up Creative Director, Lucia Pica's road trip  along  California's coast. We can see from the quadra eye make-up Road Movie the colour of the sea, the sand, the rocks and the reflection of the sun on the water and the sand. The orange and red lipsticks were inspired by the city lights of California. The new product this season is the Palette Essentialle which was inspired by the colours of the dry grasslands of the California mountains. This products is a three in one palette that offers a concealer, highlighter, a blusher. Chanel also introduced a new duo brush perfect to use for the eyeshadow and the new Palette Essentialle called the Pinceau Duo Correcteur Retractable in black with white soft brush for application around the skin. Their nail colours are also fantastic offering in light colours of sand and light green. This is a fabulous collection to discover for Fall.

Chanel Cruise Make-Up Collection

As the season is transitioning now from Spring to Summer, Chanel Make-up introduced their Cruise Collection for 2017 with the model looking perfectly with her beach, sun-kissed look. The whole collection is all about natural glamour and make summer shimmer. It starts with the Les Beiges healthy luminous glow for the face which also comes in a stick in pink and coral. Then there are the lip colours which are perfect for summer, called no other than Golden Sand  and Golden Sun. The nail colours in matching nude, light pink (Sea Whip)  and coral (Coralium) matches perfectly with the lip colours. Everything is so chic and perfectly brings glamour and shimmer for summer.

Chanel Spring Makeup Collection

I was invited this weekend for a Chanel Manicure and Makeup Event at Holt Renfrew Department Store here in Toronto. It was to introduce their Chanel Spring Makeup Collection. This was special because it included a complimentary Manicure and Makeup. Of course, we ladies will not turn down an invitation like that. It was a great opportunity for me to unplug and spend some time of pampering for myself with the luxury and beautiful collection of Chanel Cosmetics. It was also a fun time to chat with the expert and friendly Chanel Cosmetics staff at Holts.

Chanel Knightsbridge Collection.
Chanel Spring Makeup Limited Edition was dedicated to the fashionable  Knightsbridge area in London. The 3 lipsticks belonging to the Rouge Allure line are called Kensington(Fuchsia), Hyde Park (Coral) and Belgravia(Golden Pink and Silver Facets).  The Poudree Tissee is called Brompton Road. The Poudre Tissee can both be used as a Blush or an Eye Shadow. Then the Lip Glossimer is called Chelsea.

The Manicure Session.

The Manicure Stand around the Cosmetic section at Holt Renfrew.

The three colours for Spring are in front: Le Vernis Chanel - May (Pink), April (Red/Brown facets) and June (light coral).

Here are the samples on my nails. I am trying to decide which one to put on.

I decided instead on another colour which is called Orange Fizz. Tried something different!

The Final outcome! I loved it!

Thank you to Nagris who filed, buffed and completed the whole Manicure at Chanel. She even shared with me some history about Coco Chanel and the beginning of Cosmetics for  women. Apparently, it was Coco Chanel who started the Makeup industry in the 1920s by developing her own make-up line. Of course, Coco Chanel also started the Perfume industry for women by concocting the World Famous Chanel No. 5 Parfum.  Nagris explained to me that Chanel is the first point of reference for Colour in the Makeup Industry.  No wonder Peter Philips, the British Creative Director of Chanel Make-up is one of the most influential in the Cosmetic Industry.

Don't miss to watch this Video:  Shade Parade
It is a Cabaret Show of  Le Vernis Chanel!

Thank you to the Chanel Cosmetics Staff at Holt Renfrew Toronto. It was a fun time spent on a Sunday afternoon.
