Meet the Karl Lagerfeld and Choupette cartoon doll edition designed by Tokidoki. My best friend who just recently returned from Paris, purchased this doll for me when she happened to pass by the Karl Lagerfeld store in St. Germain, Paris. She snapped the photo above then immediately sent me an e-mail showing this current window display in the Paris store. Tokidoki designed  three limited editions of the Karl Lagerfeld dolls named as Mr. Jeans, Mr. Black and the new edition Karl Lagerfeld & Choupette, his pet White Siamese cat. There are clothing and accessories available featuring these designs at the Karl Lagerfeld stores in Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin. Here are some news about Choupette:  According to The Telegraph, Karl wants to marry his White Siamese Cat,  has three maids to look after her, travels by private jet with Karl and has 27K followers on Twitter. Wow, only if Choupette can wear Chanel!  I will not be surprised! Choupette is one lucky cat!

Stylish Magazines

With Paris Fashion Week for Fall 2013 almost over, here are some inspirational Fashion Reads that I discovered on-line. One of them is New York Times Style Magazine, T Magazine. Their most recent feature was Lee Radziwill, the youngest sister of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis featured in her very stylish and cosy Paris Apartment. In the article she shared about her life, her memories of her sister and her family and most of all her love of Paris. Lee Radziwill is one of the truly elegant women that I admire. She has aged gracefully, lives her life with style and to the fullest. Well, who wouldn't since she lives both in New York City and in Paris, has great friends and memories, she was brought up well-educated and highly cultured.

Another very inspiring on-line magazine I discovered is Net-a-Porter's, The Edit with Lucy Yeomans as Editor In Chief. This is not your typical magazine but the Editorials and pictures are very stylish and inspiring. The latest issue is dedicated to Paris Glamour with Carine Roitfeld as one of their main feature. There is also an article about Les Parisiennes style especially focusing on the Paris Vogue Editors fashion style which is admired all over the World. Another article that might interest you is the Beauty Secrets of French Women.

As for me, I admire Emmanuelle Alt's style wearing skinny jeans, her oversized shirt and heels confidently.
The lesson here is that which ever style you choose to follow, remember to have confidence.

Orange Summer Delight!

Summer is finally here! I kept seeing lots of Orange around which inspired me to present this post on the start of the Summer season.  Where will you escape this summer? Here are some of my photographs taken in Nice, France. The whole city of Nice has buildings with orange or terracotta roofs. I was also inspired by the fresh seafood from the Mediterranean Sea like the lobster and shrimps which are abundant in Nice. Then we also visited Antibes, France which is the centre of surfing and sailing in the French Riviera. I saw some orange sails and surfs in the beautiful blue Mediterranean Sea. Plus I saw a brave surfer wearing an Orange surf shorts which I have to share with you here on my post. Of course, I cannot miss not sharing with you some Orange inspired clothes from  Dolce & Gabbana and also JoeFresh which is a Canadian Fashion brand now expanding in the USA. Joe Fresh opened a flagship store in Fifth Avenue, NYC. There are some fashionable gals already wearing their Orange dresses in their cities. Then of course, there is a beautiful orange leather bag and moccasin from Tod's, beautiful bags from Roger Vivier and Givency plus a beautiful orange sandal from Stella McCartney. If you wish try something different this summer, why not try the Chanel de Vernis Orange Fizz nail polish for a summer delight?
