Chic Delights: H and M

On the same Friday that we arrived in Los Angeles, my Aunt and Uncle brought us that night to The Americana Mall at Brand, in Glendale just to stroll around. As you know, the U.S.A is well known for their malls. I would have to say that the U.S.A has the best malls, particularly in California. My two favourite malls in Los Angeles are The Grove near Beverly Hills and this new mall in Glendale, The Americana Mall. What I love about them is not just many different stores and restaurants but also the whole ambiance and urban design of the Malls. Being California where it is sunny and warm mostly 365 days of the year, their malls are designed to be more open and encourages their guests to walk outside on the street side without any vehicle traffic. I love that, rather than being in an enclosed mall like here in Toronto. Well, here in Toronto, we have the four seasons,with our winter that is quite harsh so most of our malls have to be enclosed indoors. I love and enjoy the openness and luxurious ambiance of The American Mall. Other brands in this mall are A/X Armani Exchange, Tiffany & Co, Walter Weitzman Shoes, Lacoste, Sephora, Barnes and Nobles, among others. This week, we will go shopping in Los Angeles by featuring my two favourite malls, The Americana in Glendale and The Grove in Beverly Hills. Here are some shows, stores and places to hangout in the Mall. Let's go discover and enjoy!

The Italian Luxury label, Marni, has a collaboration with H & M which will be available on March 8th. Marni for H & M launched their whole collection in a party in LA with the celebrity guests already wearing some of its items that will be sold at H & M Stores.

Marni was founded in 1994 in Milan, Italy by Ciwifurs scion Gianni Castiglioni and his wife, Consuelo. It started small, not known but has grown popular because many Fashion Editors, Models then celebrities started wearing it. They are well known for their Prints which will be evident in the Marni for H&M collaboration. Personally, I like Marni. I am not that big on prints but I don't mind wearing Marni because their clothes were well designed and definitely well made. However, the Marni items are very expensive. But you get high quality and high style for what you pay for... At least with this H&M Collaboration, we can own a piece of Marni.

Marni for H & M Dresses. One thing I like about Marni is the beautiful prints and simple silhouette which makes for easy dressing. I mean, I can wear this dress and I'm ready to head out! I don't have to think too much about the outfit. I hope these dresses will still be available for me to purchase at H&M stores on March 8th!

I am all excited now for March 8th when the Marni for H & M will be available in stores. We should start thinking now which items to purchase because for sure there will be Rules in shopping on that day. We have to be fast shoppers on that day! What do you think of the collection? Did you like it?

I like the collection very much. I can see that Consuelo Castiglioni well designed and planned this collection. The items are actually very true and consistent with her Marni brand. The items are wearable and most importantly affordable.
