Fall Style: Chanel

I see beauty, glamour, elegance and class every time I visit the Chanel windows and the pop-up store inside Holt Renfrew on Bloor St, Toronto. For this Fall season, Chanel introduced new bags, like the Gabrielle bag and classic Chanel clothes in black, red, winter white, metallics, blues, orange and burgundy. Everything in this collection are so inspiring and highly covetable. Chanel's Fall Collection never fails to inspire and make us dream.

Chanel Cruise Make-Up Collection

As the season is transitioning now from Spring to Summer, Chanel Make-up introduced their Cruise Collection for 2017 with the model looking perfectly with her beach, sun-kissed look. The whole collection is all about natural glamour and make summer shimmer. It starts with the Les Beiges healthy luminous glow for the face which also comes in a stick in pink and coral. Then there are the lip colours which are perfect for summer, called no other than Golden Sand  and Golden Sun. The nail colours in matching nude, light pink (Sea Whip)  and coral (Coralium) matches perfectly with the lip colours. Everything is so chic and perfectly brings glamour and shimmer for summer.

My Spring Favourites

I am sharing with you my spring favourites in cosmetics and perfumes. I believe that Spring is a season for renewal, to lighten up and to add colours in our make-up and fashion. For fragrances, I am loving the Diptyque Paris personal fragrances, particularly the Eau des Sens which has orange blossoms, juniper berries and patchouli and  L'Ombre dans l'Eau which has blackcurrant leaves and Bulgarian roses. Both eaux de toilettes are refreshing to wear for spring. For make-up, I purchased the new Chanel Les Beiges healthy glow and luminous powder, the Jardins de Lumieres quad eye shadow which is a limited edition and for lipstick, from the Cruise collection, the Coco Rouge lipstick, Esquisse. Then, I never leave the house without using the Chanel Le Crayon Sourcils in brun naturel for my brows. I am always excited to wear them this spring which adds a lighter style to start my day.

Spring Style: Pretty In Pink

Spring style is popping up around Toronto now. Even the happy colour of Pink from light pink to hot pink is in style. We can even pair pink with yellow and green as you can see from both Prada and Gucci Spring collections. I can't wait to wear these fantastic Spring clothes and shoes. I can't wait to see the leaves starting to grow on trees and the flowers starting to bloom. It will be a season of rebirth, a new beginning. Be happy and be inspired! Spring is here.

Fun At The Coco Café

To my delight, I attended the opening of the Coco Café at the Holt Renfrew Bloor Street Store in Toronto. For the whole month of March, the Coco Café will be open to offer their customers the latest in the Rouge Coco Chanel collection for Spring. We were allowed to try all of the Chanel products on display from the lipsticks, lip gloss, the new Le Vernis nail colours, the new Sublimage Le Teint cream foundation which applies to your skin so light and au naturel plus there were drinks, lip lollipops, macarons and candies all over the Café . I enjoyed this event very much as I tried everything from Chanel. As the saying goes, never loose your childlike enthusiasm

Which colours will you choose?

For the nail polish, I love the Washed Denim (grey blue), the Camellia (fuchsia) and the Tulle (light melon) colours. They will be perfect shades for Spring.

From the new Spring Collection, I purchased the quadra eye make- up Jardin De Lumieres (the quadra eye shadow in the middle and worn by the model on the photo). I love the colour combination and the name alone, in english, Lighted Garden or Illuminated Garden which captures spring perfectly.

Never be afraid to take your Chances.

Chanel Christmas Wish

Have you written up your Christmas wish list? Holt Renfrew  in Toronto has expanded their Chanel Boutique on the 2nd Floor with the bags, shoes, clothes and accessories more accessible and visible to shoppers. As you can see on the photos above, we can almost touch these most coveted classic flap and Boy bags in pastel colours of pink, fuchsia and yellow. There are even hard to find blue Chanel bags on display. It was such a delight to see. It made me wish that all I want for Christmas is Chanel. Who would resist? No way. I'll receive Chanel any time.

Discover Chanel Le Rouge

So excited that Chanel has a new Fall make up collection, the new Chanel Le Rouge designed by new Chanel cosmetics creative director, Lucia Pica. The collection's pillar is the colour red as interpreted by Lucia in different palettes and products. The collection shows the power of wearing red in the eyes, the cheeks, the nails and especially on the lips. I purchased the Les 4 Ombres eyeshadow above in Candeur et Experience which shows more natural earth tones colour in brown, beige and reddish brown. As you can see from the videos below, you can wear it more intense or combine the colours all together for a softer more natural look with a hint of colour. There are matching lipsticks and the powder blush in Joues Contraste gives a rose pink touch to the whole collection. I am excited and looking forward to wear this collection in the coming Fall.

Chanel Travel Style

Spring is the start of travel time for me. This weekend, I will be travelling to Italy for some needed rest and recreation. I am so excited about this trip as I will be visiting some cities around Rome. The Chanel Spring windows around Toronto displayed their Spring 2016 Collection which was inspired by everything about travel. The runway show was held in a makeshift Chanel Airport where models presented Chanel luggage and clothes that are stylish and comfortable. I wish I was travelling with all of these Chanel clothes, bags and luggage. Their knit skirt, tops, culottes, stylish jacket and sneakers, including the red Boy Chanel Bag will be perfect for my trip to Italy this week.

Chanel Resort 2016

Last weekend was super freezing here in Toronto. We experienced some Arctic cold with -30C wind chills. It is during those times that we wish that we were in some kind of resort enjoying the warm, sunny weather with the beach and some pina colada on hand. Plus wearing some really stylish and terrific clothes from the Chanel Resort 2016. This resort collection was presented in Seoul, South Korea by Chanel together with the talented master designer, Karl Lagerfeld. The clothes are perfect for the Resort with colourful prints, pastel colours and of course the classic black Chanel. The bags and accessories are to die for with glossy blue and fuchsia colours for the Boy Chanel bag with cool transparent lucite shades. Then in the Chanel store here in Toronto, I saw that white bag (last photo) which is a new and modern style for Chanel. Those bags are so beautiful and functional to carry across the shoulders. Chanel create fashion products that sets the trend but also functional at the same time. There is nothing wrong to dream.
