Spring Afternoon Tea

We are finally enjoying some warm and sunny weather here in Toronto. It's time to meet friends and hang out in the Patio. One weekend, my best friend and I met for Afternoon Tea on the patio at MoRoCo Chocolat located in our favourite Yorkville, in Toronto. The Afternoon Tea at MoRoCo Chocolat offered so many food including two choices of tea, the traditional tea sandwiches, scones, cakes, pastries plus the famous MoRoCo macarons. Our order also included their famous Macaroni N Cheese with truffles. We  had a fun time catching up on our lives, basked under the sun and enjoyed all of these food. The patio at MoRoCo Chocolat was also decorated with these whimsical tea pots floating above a garden box which truly felt like we are having a mad hatter's tea party from the Alice in Wonderland story book.
We both love and enjoy eating the Macaroni N Cheese at MoRoCo Chocolat.
MoRoCo Chocolat makes their own chocolates, macarons and french inspired pastries. They have their own in-house patisserie chef who designs and makes all of these delicious and pretty sweets.
Our Tea selection was Earl Grey Cream and Strawberry Fields.
We get to choose our two tea selections from their Artisan Blends Collection.

Have a wonderful Spring Weekend!

It's Spring In The City

I am happy to announce that it is finally Spring in Toronto! The past weekends we have been experiencing warmer and sunny weather in the City. There are still no blooms but we know it will come soon. First, Holt Renfrew on Bloor Street have decorated their windows, titled Spring In The Air, showcasing the skies filled with clear cloud, birds and butterflies in the air mixed with the latest Spring fashions and accessories now available in the Store. Then last Weekend, a drive and a stroll through downtown Toronto presented us with glorious weather where finally, we saw people coming out to play with their bicycles or with a ball game at the local park. What are you doing this Spring? Always remember to come out in style and to have fun.

The Art works in these Storefront windows were created by Art Students from local Art programs around Toronto.

It is so nice to see people coming out to enjoy the sunny weather in their bicycles.
Also enjoying a local ballgame at the Park.

Remember to come out and play this Weekend!

It's finally Spring. Although, here in Toronto, it does not really look and feel like Spring. We are still experiencing this long Winter.  We are hopeful that Spring will come soon. But all of our Shops here are displaying their Spring Collections especially the Kate Spade Toronto Shop in Yorkville. Luckily, Kate Spade's campaign for Spring is about Introducing Our Year of Places To Go, People To See and of course, what to wear and accessories to bring along. Here are some style and travel inspiration for Spring.
 Dare to wear colourful prints.
 Wear some pastel colours.
Go classic in Black and White.
A peak inside the Kate Spade's  Yorkville Store.

Zara For Spring

The Zara Lookbook for Spring is currently out now on-line. It shows stylish clothes that are light in fabric, colour and style. There are lots of whites, beige, light blues, canary yellow, pink and some Black. No more winter coats, sweaters and boots. Here are some of my favourites from the Collection. I can't wait for Spring to come. Believe that Spring is just around the corner.
I love this printed dress.
This light blue dress with metallic sandals is one of my favourites for Spring.
The denim skirt with white blouse and sandals looks refreshing for Spring.
I like this sandals because it looks so stylish and at the same time comfortable. Unfortunately, this time, it is sold out on the Zara website. Which item from the Zara Collection is your favourite?

Louis Vuitton Spring 2014 Campaign

Marc Jacobs' Muses: Fan Bingbing, Caroline de Maigret and Catherine Deneuve.

This year 2014 is definitely a year of change especially at Louis Vuitton. Who would have taught that Marc Jacobs announced at the end of 2013 that he will leave Louis Vuitton? For over 16 years at Louis Vuitton, Marc has successfully improved the luxury Brand to a very modern and most sought after in the International market not only for its legendary leather goods, but also expanded it to their clothing, shoes and collaborations with International artists like Stephen Sprouse and Takashi Murakami. For sure his replacement, Nicholas Ghesquiere, formerly Creative Director at Balenciaga, will do well for Louis Vuitton. Nicholas is very talented and have also improved the design and fortunes of Balenciaga. It remains to be seen with Nicholas' first Collection coming out soon in the next Fashion Week.
Marc Jacob's Muses: Sofia Coppola, Edie Campbell and Gisele Bündchen.

Marc Jacobs has chosen his best muses for the Spring 2014 Campaign who are beautiful and accomplished women in their own right. The last Fashion Show for Louis Vuitton Spring was very dark and dramatic. The sets featured all of the best from his past shows for Louis Vuitton with the showcase of clothes made with black embroidery on black or on denim with grand black feathery hats. If you missed it, view the Runway Show held at the Carousel de Louvre Museum in Paris. We will miss you Marc Jacobs at Louis Vuitton. Well done!
