London Postcards.

I can't believe that the London Summer Olympics 2012 is ending this weekend. Two weeks of exciting and memorable Sport competitions among Nations is almost over. Well, for this past two weeks we were entertained with some swimming prowess from the USA Team's Michael Phelps,Ryan Lochte, Missy Franklin, some Diving power from the Chinese Team, the Rowing competitions among Canada, UK and USA and other countries, the gold medal win of Canadian Rosannagh Maclennan in Trampoline, the emotional victory of  British Sir Chris Hoy in the Cycling event, British Tennis superstar Andy Murray winning his Olympic Gold Medal over Wimbledon Champion Swiss Roger Federer, the Fastest man in the world is Jamaican Usain Bolt, and of course the USA Dream Basketball team still to win their Gold medal in this Olympic this weekend.  Even the daughter of Princess Anne, Zara Phillips won a Silver Medal in Equestrian Team Eventing. We will miss the Summer Olympics and will wait again for another four years. Next time the Summer Olympics will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Summer Olympics High Fashion

Did you watch the Opening Ceremony of the London Summer Olympics? Which country do you think  was the Best Dressed during the Athletes parade?  Before the Olympics began, there were big news about the Olympic Uniforms of some countries, particularly, for the United States, United Kingdom and Italy.  As for the United States, their Olympic Uniform was designed by American Designer Ralph Lauren, United Kingdom's Olympic Uniform was designed by British Designer, Stella McCartney and Italy's was designed by Italian Designer, Giorgio Armani. They were all looking so decent and fashionable. Then there was some controversy for the Americans as their uniform was designed by Ralph Lauren but Made in China. American politicians caused quite a furor in the USA about this arrangement in both the local and foreign press, Team USA Uniform Controversy.  There is now news that in 2014, the Team USA Olympic Uniform will be Made in the USA.  No fury for Stella McCartney's design for the UK Olympic Team. As for the Italians, well, they even had a fashion show to showcase Mr. Armani's design for the Team Italy. The Olympics now is no longer just a competition of sport but also a competition in Fashion!  Well, the Olympics is a perfect place to showcase your country not only in Sport but also in sportmanship, character and also in Fashion.

Go Team Canada!

It is the start of the Summer Olympics 2012 in London! Did you enjoy the Opening Ceremony last night?  Are you cheering on your own Team?  I am presenting here some  Official Team Canada  Replica Olympic Apparel that is exclusively available at The Bay Department Store (HBC).  One of the best way to show support to our Canadian Olympic Team is to purchase one of these very fashionable and comfortable clothing line of t-shirts, Spring jackets, some caps or a Denim jacket. There's even some baby clothes too. Colours are in the traditional Red and White, or White and Red, Black and Red and even Navy Blue and White. There are even logos representing Canada's Maple leaf, canoe and Olympic Team 2012.  Aren't they all cool?

London Summer 2012 Olympics

London is a happening place again starting this Friday with the Opening Ceremony of the Summer 2012 Olympics. We will have two weeks of  friendly competition and show of sportsmanship among nations. Of course, we will be cheering and praying for our own respective country teams but overall this London Summer Olympics will be a time of Celebration! Especially in London with all of the many activities around the city. The Olympic torch have travelled around the United Kingdom including The London Eye with the view of Big Ben  in the picture below. The Olympic torch even passed through Windsor Castle for The Queen to view it too.  London is one of my favourite cities. I am excited that the Olympics is in London. I just hope that the weather will cooperate! Please no rain!  If you will attend the Olympics this coming two weeks, I hope you will all enjoy it and create special memories as this is a once in a lifetime event taking place in London.
