During my staycation in the City, I discovered that the Canadian Opera Company offers Free Concert Series at their homebase in the brand new Four Seasons Centre from the months of September till early June. These concerts are only one hour long and offers performances from Vocal, Dance, Piano recitals to Orchestra Chamber music. The best thing of all is that the Concert series are free which makes Classical music, Opera and Ballet accessible to people. Luckily, I watched the Les Adieux Concert which featured the recent graduates from the Canadian Opera Company. I honestly do not watch any Opera shows so this was my first time to visit the Four Seasons Centre and watch their performances. Overall, I was very impressed with the venue, the performers and the whole ambiance. The whole place was full and we ended up standing up during the show. Besides listening to great music from the talented performers, it was quite irresistible not to be inspired by the great view of downtown Toronto on a busy week day.
A bravo performance.
The new Four Seasons Centre, home to the Canadian Opera Company and National Ballet of Canada.
All around the Four Seasons Centre are great views of downtown Toronto.
Do you watch Opera? Which Opera is your favourite?
I am so happy that finally the plants and flowers are blooming around our City.
Have a wonderful Spring Weekend!
