Louis Vuitton Dora Bags

My niece loves Dora, the cartoon character. I love Dora too, the new bag from Louis Vuitton. These new bags designed by Nicolas Ghesquiere features the iconic LV monogram with colourful leather trim. I love the square shape of the bag and it comes with a shoulder strap which is perfect for carrying on the shoulder or across the body. Both the blue and burgundy leather trim are perfect for Fall. There is even a Dora bandeau/scarf that you can pair with the bag and your fall outfit. Check out the many different styles of the Dora bag here.

Follow Your Senses To The Marche

We spent the Labour Day weekend in Montreal. Before reaching our final destination, we stopped by at the Marche Jean Talon to have lunch. When we visited there last year, we saw some people eating fried seafood that looked so delicious. On this visit, we vowed to look for it for our lunch. Since we have no idea where we will find it, we used our own senses looking for it. We knew we will find it soon because we just followed the smell  of cooking fried seafood all the way. Luckily, we found it on the other side of the market. It was a busy day that sunny and warm Saturday that I even forgot to take photos of the place. I don't even have the name of the place. We just know the location of this place that cooks fresh fried calamari and fried shrimps with lemon and tartar sauce. There is also fish n chips and any order could come with fries. As you can see from the photo above, the whole plate was full of fried calamari and fried shrimps. Just full of deliciousness. People passing by even stopped to asked us where we got them.  Our visit to the Marche was truly worth it after a long drive from Toronto.
Then I purchased the famous Quebec poutine made with fries topped with gravy and Quebec cheese curds to go along with our fried calamari and fried shrimps.

We discovered this fruit called Cerises de Terre which are actually yellow cherries in a leaf covering. You open it which looks a blooming flower and then you eat it. It was sweet.

After lunch, we ate and purchased some of these peaches and kiwis. There are always a variety of fresh produce at the Marche Jean Talon.

Bon Weekend!

Lacy and Pastel Style

Summer is ending and Fall will be coming soon. Dolce and Gabbana always displays wonderful clothes in their Bloor Street Store. Their lace collection in nude colour is a perfect transition from summer to fall. The jewelled pumps will be perfect to wear with the lace dresses. For a more casual and chic look, the pink backpack is in style for any season. My young niece would love that pink backpack for school. The little pink over the shoulder bag will just be perfect for me. Wishful thinking for both us.

Take A Chance

The start of the new school year begins after the Labour Day Weekend. During my visit at Chanel inside Holt Renfrew, they introduced me to the new Chance Eau Vive, Chanel's fragrance that sends a wave of energy and happiness as the new fragrance has notes of grapefruit and blood orange. This is perfect for me as I am allergic to strong perfumes. The Chance collection are actually light eau de toilette which promotes a light use of the fragrance but has a maximum effect. It actually stays on all day! The collection also send an inspirational message of not to be afraid to take a chance when an opportunity comes we least expect it. As our students start this new school year, have courage to take a chance and believe that anything is possible.

It comes and goes, it never stays still...and you only have a few seconds to seize your chance. It is unpredictable and appears when you least expect it, but if you decide to seize it, anything is possible.

A chance came up, I seized it

Cindy Crawford's Private Island

I finally received the huge Vogue USA September issue. One of the features that really excited, inspired and made me proud is their exclusive feature on the private island vacation home of supermodel Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber right here in Central Ontario in Canada. Of course the article did not say exactly where the location is but my guess is that their island is located up north, somewhere in Lake Rousseau in my favourite Muskoka which I always feature here on my blog every summer. You can see here the beauty of our Northern lakes which Cindy and her family have grown to love and consider as their summer home.  I am also glad to see Cindy to grow old beautifully and gracefully with her two children. Cindy will turn 50 next year. We see her here so relaxed and so real! I am glad that Cindy and her family are enjoying their private summer time here in Ontario, Canada.

Cindy's daughter looks so beautiful. She can be a model too.

You’re the real you up here,  Cindy explains.
