London Postcards.
I can't believe that the London Summer Olympics 2012 is ending this weekend. Two weeks of exciting and memorable Sport competitions among Nations is almost over. Well, for this past two weeks we were entertained with some swimming prowess from the USA Team's Michael Phelps,Ryan Lochte, Missy Franklin, some Diving power from the Chinese Team, the Rowing competitions among Canada, UK and USA and other countries, the gold medal win of Canadian Rosannagh Maclennan in Trampoline, the emotional victory of British Sir Chris Hoy in the Cycling event, British Tennis superstar Andy Murray winning his Olympic Gold Medal over Wimbledon Champion Swiss Roger Federer, the Fastest man in the world is Jamaican Usain Bolt, and of course the USA Dream Basketball team still to win their Gold medal in this Olympic this weekend. Even the daughter of Princess Anne, Zara Phillips won a Silver Medal in Equestrian Team Eventing. We will miss the Summer Olympics and will wait again for another four years. Next time the Summer Olympics will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. But before we leave London, here are some London souvenirs which I am sure you have come across all over London this past two weeks. Enjoy!
Go and purchase your London 2012 souvenirs. Which one will you choose? The Royal coffee mug, Beatles T-shirts, the London Olympics T-shirts or just postcards? Whichever you choose, I hope it will remind you of your fun trip to London.
Congratulations to all of the Canadian Athletes who fulfilled their dream and won Olympic Medals for Canada! Well done!
Have a great weekend!

Big night tonight, after Mo Farah's fantastic finishing Gold last night we can all look forward to the big closing ceremony.
ReplyDeleteHi Paul, the Gold medal victory for Mo Farah was a proud moment for the UK. I enjoyed your London Olympics. Well done! Looking forward to the closing ceremony tonight (Toronto time).
DeleteYou got style and good taste.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite moment was Canada winning the bronze in women's soccer after the controversial semi-final game, that was awesome! Totally got into it. My sister works with Kaylyn Kyle's mom so I am sure she will hear all the stories when they get back from the Olympics!
ReplyDeleteThe 10m platform diving final yesterday was incredible as well. Andy Murray's win was fantastic too. And I love Misty May-Treanor & Kerri Walsh's 3rd Olympic win in beach volleyball, I think this one meant way more to them than the previous two did.
