Temples Of Wat Pho and Wat Arun

During our visit to Bangkok, we were fascinated to visit the Buddhist temples of Wat Pho, known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha and Wat Arun, known as the Temple of Dawn along the Chao Phraya River. The Wat Pho, should be one of the wonder of the world as it has the biggest reclining Buddha ever built in the world. It's a huge Buddha in gold. Then the temple is surrounded by stupas pointing all the way up to the heaven, made in colourful porcelains which usually holds the ashes of monks or Thai Royalty. Visiting these temples truly gave us an experience into the wisdom, tranquillity and peace of Buddhism and the grandeur of Thai culture and architecture.
