Style Setters: Courtin-Clarins Belles du Jour

I would say that every decade there are always a new generation of beautiful, society girls emerging on the Fashion and Society Scene. For this decade, it is the Courtin-Clarins girls that is on the spotlight during Fashion Week from New York to all the way to Paris. The Courtin-Clarins girls are the granddaughters of  the late Jacques Courtin-Clarins, the Founder of the French Luxury Cosmetics Company, Clarins.  The quartet are composed of the twins Claire and Virginie and their cousins Prisca and Jenna who are also sisters.  Both Claire and Virginie are the twin daughters of  Christian Courtin-Clarins, the current President of Clarins, the Privately held family company. They are not like Paris Hilton at all. Far from it.  They are highly educated, with degrees from the Sorbonne, they have experienced in working, being interns in the Cosmetic counters in Major department stores in NYC and Paris and now they are involved in various projects for Clarins including the latest FEED+Clarins collaboration with Lauren Bush. Their cousin Prisca, owns several Nail Salons around Paris.

 Now they are highly sought after by magazine editors, street photographers and international designers. They are very fashionable and get to carry the latest Louis Vuitton bags and accessories. They are very amusing and fun which you can see from the videos they have prepared in their new blog. The Courtin-Clarins girls now represent their family company,Clarins, through their blog Beauty Flash Blog, other company projects and charities. These ladies are not only beautiful, stylish but also hard working, entrepreneurial and charitable. Tout à fait admirable!

According to the New York Times article: In This Family,Turning Heads Is Not Enough, Lauren Bush commented that 'The girls are so smart and grounded, and they’re part of this family who are normal, hard-working people.'

Virginie elaborated in an e-mail to New York Times Article: In This Family,Turning Heads Is Not Enough, 'Being charitable has always been the philosophy. My grandfather was my mentor. He always told us to put ourselves in others’ shoes to understand everything, in professional and personal life.'

The Courtin-Clarins belles always wearing the latest fashion and latest bags from Celine and Louis Vuitton.
