Bespoke Shoes by Caroline Groves

Caroline Groves Shoes.

One of the joys of life is always learning something new.  Abigail-Stuart-Menteth from Damson PR in the UK, kindly offered me to feature the luxurious shoe creations of Caroline Groves. These unique and beautiful shoes that Caroline creates are made for walking but fit for a Queen. Not the current Queen, but for Queen Marie Antoinette. When I first saw these custom made shoes, I was so amazed! They are so stunning and luxurious! The shoes are custom-made and hand made in Caroline's own studio in the Cotswolds. There are no limits to the imagination!  Caroline has her own exclusive clientele who can request her to create any shoes that they can imagine. But of course, these creations and exclusivity comes with a price of upward £1500.
For the rest of us, it is nice to know that there is someone so talented as Caroline Groves, creating these luxurious shoes in this world. At least we can go beyond the Jimmy Choos, the Manolos and the Roger Vivier of Shoes, if we can afford it! But for now, we can admire her wonderful and unique creation - Shoes!

From the movie Directed by Sofia Coppola, Marie Antoinette and her friends. They would surely love these custom-made Shoes.

Abigail Stuart-Menteth wrote: "Calling Caroline Groves a shoemaker is like calling Valentino a dressmaker. After a period of concentrating on family life, Caroline is back in the heartland of the cordwainer's heaven - Jermyn Street at Foster & Son , England's oldest established shoemakers. The traditional  surrounding lend a soft, safe air."

From Caroline Groves website: The Crow shoes above was " a commission by a client, inspired by the Ted Hughes poem 'King of Carrion' and Edward Burne-Jones sketches."

Many thanks to Abigail and to Caroline Groves for the photos!

Have a wonderful week everyone!
