Better late than never as the saying goes. My copy of the Philippine Tatler December 2011 finally arrived yesterday. Of course, I opened the package with glee! As I am always excited to read its contents and view their beautiful photographs. Their articles and photos in every issue are always inspiring. Here are some of the beautiful pictures they featured in the Magazine's December 2011 issue.

December 2011 Issue with the Family of Tessa Prieto-Valdes and Dennis Valdes. Tessa is one of the Philippines extraordinary and stylish socialite.

From the Magazine, I will feature the Photos about Christmas Dining Table Spread set up by Prominent Filipinos in their own homes. They shared in the Magazine about their inspirations in decorating their own Dining Tables.

Ricky Toledo and Chito Vijandre, Proprietors of FIRMA and AC+632 decorated their Christmas Dining Table by the inspiration of their travels in Florence and Venice, Italy. Very Lush Italian Garden setting and Opulent decor.

From their Christmas Dining Table we learn to use Silver opulence, Crystal Lalique Centrepiece and lush flora inspired by Italian gardens.

Andres Vazquez Prada, Designer and Interior Stylist, designed his Christmas table with the inspiration of the Orient. However on Christmas Day lunch, they usually serve Spanish dishes like Bacalao (Fish), Callos (Tripe),Galantina (chicken), Ham and Russian Salad. Truly a mix of Spanish with the Orient.

Oriental decor in the Christmas Dining table showed Heirloom Chinese Ivory Figurines with Spanish Silver Candelabras and pinecones.

Wynn Wynn Ong, Jewellery Designer, decorated her Christmas Dining  Table with a Tree of Blessings. She placed an actual stems with golden animal figurines and jewelled charms designed by Wynn Wynn herself.  A Huge Candelabra gives light to the table.

The Noble Mongrel called "Bantay" was dipped in 24 carat Gold with blue sapphire eyes. Among all of these decor is a Wine Decanter for guests to enjoy. Wynn Wynn is from Burma while her husband, Norby, is Filipino Chinese. Their Christmas dining feast is a combination of Filipino, Spanish and Chinese dishes. It is normal in their Christmas Dinner  to serve Stuffed roast turkey and Burmese roast pork.

These Christmas Dining tables are elegant and opulent. However, it is important to have fun during the Christmas season to decorate your house and also the Dining table. It does not have to be extravagant but decorating your house and preparing for your Christmas party are an extension of yourself and also for the guests to enjoy.
