We are finally enjoying some warm and sunny weather here in Toronto. It's time to meet friends and hang out in the Patio. One weekend, my best friend and I met for Afternoon Tea on the patio at MoRoCo Chocolat located in our favourite Yorkville, in Toronto. The Afternoon Tea at MoRoCo Chocolat offered so many food including two choices of tea, the traditional tea sandwiches, scones, cakes, pastries plus the famous MoRoCo macarons. Our order also included their famous Macaroni N Cheese with truffles. We had a fun time catching up on our lives, basked under the sun and enjoyed all of these food. The patio at MoRoCo Chocolat was also decorated with these whimsical tea pots floating above a garden box which truly felt like we are having a mad hatter's tea party from the Alice in Wonderland story book.
We both love and enjoy eating the Macaroni N Cheese at MoRoCo Chocolat.
MoRoCo Chocolat makes their own chocolates, macarons and french inspired pastries. They have their own in-house patisserie chef who designs and makes all of these delicious and pretty sweets.
Our Tea selection was Earl Grey Cream and Strawberry Fields.
We get to choose our two tea selections from their Artisan Blends Collection.
Have a wonderful Spring Weekend!
What a delightful garden! I love how very creative Becky's projects are. So fanciful! There's really a lot of inspiration in these gorgeous pictures. Brenda, such a fun site to find!

How nice! That's one thing we don't do here in America. I think in the 60s and 70s, they had alcoholic drinks before dinner for a similar kind of relaxation. Now I think people drink coffee at get-togethers, but that doesn't work so well if you're meeting late in the day. Too much caffeine!
ReplyDeleteI love afternoon tea, never did it at a hotel but I am dying to try it at the Plaza hotel.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely thing to do. The food looks delicious and decadent
ReplyDeleteHi Patricia, this is such a charming afternoon tea, Id love to experience something like it, the treats and snacks look delectable and love the vintage teacups. Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing your views.
ReplyDeleteI was actually at the Plaza hotel this past Saturday in NYC having their afternoon tea. It was wonderful. One of the few in NYC that you actually leave very full. Sometimes they do not give you very much food at these events, but the Plaza one is suburb. This looks great, I know to contact you when I am able to visit Toronto again!! Such fun !!
ReplyDeleteMoRoCo Chocolat looks wonderful. I'll have a green tea and a cucumber sandwich please Pamela.
