Icefest 2016: Expressions of Love

How do you express love? Last weekend, we saw the many different Expressions Of Love during Ice Festival 2016 held at Bloor-Yorkville, in Toronto. It was a warm weekend completely opposite of the arctic freeze we had last weekend. So this time, the ice sculptures were melting slowly. But that didn't dampen the feeling of love as we viewed each ice sculpture around the Park. There was an Ice carving competition where each one was carved exquisitely by the ice carver using their own tools and imagination. There were several ice sculptures of hearts, pigeons and couples kissing and dancing together. Along the Park there were live music and food and drinks from the participating restaurants around the area. This annual event every year never fails to spread fun and love during the winter time.
First prize winner of the Ice Carving competition.
