These are my food favourites that can only be found here and made me feel and know that I am truly in the USA:
1. From our vacation to Florida last month, we always stop by Senor Frog's for some fajita, tacos and burritos food. Every night this place turns into a happening place with loud music and lots of ice cold beer flowing around.
2. One of my favourite shopping stops in the USA is at Walgreens where they have rows upon rows of American chocolates from all sizes from King size to mini size. My favourite is the Reese's Peanut butter cups which they have in all sizes. Walgreens is the equivalent also of your Parisian Pharmacy where you can buy all kinds of beauty and skin products.
3. Then of course, it is truly American to eat footlong hot dogs from Nathan's Famous, either the chili dog or the Reuben dog with sauerkraut and Swiss cheese. Now, I can say that their crinkle cut french fries are the best fries ever! It is crispy yumminess french fries paired with matching ice cold Coca-Cola!
4. One of America's favourite drinks is the old fashioned lemonade. I brought to Florida my cold and some coughing because of the hot/cold weather here in Toronto. So I drank the whole week in Florida, old fashioned lemonade in different flavours - both raspberry lemonade and Disney had Pomegranate lemonade. These lemonade drinks were a refreshing, cool and healing drink.
5. Lastly, only in America, particularly in the Disney Parks, can you find these pretty Mickey shaped Specialty Apple covered in chocolate and marshmallows. It is a combination of a sinful and healthy snack at the same time. It is meant to be shared of course when you slice it in many parts.
Of course, as you travel, make an effort to discover and be adventurous to try their local food and specialties. I always do that when I travel. These are my truly American favourites.

Hey there, beautiful pictures, looks like you had a great time! We will be spending our summers in Pompano Beach at the lovely new Sabbia Beach Condos (http://www.sabbiabeachcondos.com) once it is finished. Our new home will look fantastic and we will spoil ourselves a great deal there but I definitely want to travel around a bit too. I'll keep your suggestions in mind, thanks and best wishes to you. Love, Patricia
