To celebrate Christmas, we attended the Dinner Show, Spirit of Aloha, at Disney`s Polynesian Village Resort in Orlando, Florida. The Dinner Show was an enchanting luau showcasing several dances and songs from the different Polynesian Islands of Hawaii, Samoa, Bora Bora and Tahiti among others. There was a feast of food presenting different salads, roast chicken, ribs, roast pig and a pineapple bread pudding with caramel sauce for dessert. It was an all you can eat luau while watching all the Polynesian dancing from both women and men dancers and singers. There was an over flow of drinks from Mai Tai cocktails, sangria and lemonade. Then the resort itself had a feel of a Pacific island resort. The resort had a grand lobby and it was so elegantly decorated for Christmas. It was a memorable and fun night to celebrate Christmas away from home.
Even Minnie Mouse and Donald Duck were dressed in Polynesian dancing costume.
Aloha!
