Essentials To My Daily Productivity

As an Editor for my Blog, The Style And Travel Journals, it could be a challenge on a daily basis to achieve our daily goals and to be productive. It takes planning and organising to create a post and to share it to everyone. There are not so rosy days and there are days when we feel to just slow down or not do anything at all.

As we strive to do our best to exceed our goals every day, we normally have to discipline and push ourselves outside our comfort zone to achieve our goals.

In my life right now, I have developed my 5 Essentials for Productivity which has been part of my daily lifestyle:

Inspiration

I get my daily inspiration from many sources. They could be from the beauty of nature, people that I admire and work with everyday, from my family and friends, Books, Magazines, different Blogs, Fashion, Art, Music, Movies, and Travel. Inspiration is everywhere as long as we pay attention, appreciate all the beauty and the good that is around us. Inspiration has helped me to stay positive, to create my best work and therefore achieve better productivity.
Lately, I visited Claude Monet's Les Nymphaes art work displayed at the Musee De L'Orangerie in Paris, France which inspired me to visit Monet's House and Garden in Giverny, France and to read more about his life and art.

Brainstorming

I write down all of my ideas and inspiration for my Blog as notes on my monthly planner/diary. From the ideas that I write down, I am able to create and produce themes and presentations for my Blog.

Getting Organised

We can achieve brainstorming in many ways. We can be creative as we want to be. As for me, I write down all of my ideas on my daily planner/diary for my Blog. From there, I can create and organise themes and schedule them on my Planner. This way, I am more organised and can clearly see my Blog's direction for that month.

Getting organised can also be done through an Inspiration Board by cutting out photos that inspire us in order to create a common theme of what we plan to achieve.

Time Management

Planning our time during the day allows us to prioritise the things we wish to achieve for that day. Time Management is key in achieving productivity because it helps us to have a clear head and allows us to work on things in an orderly manner.

Multi-Tasking

Here is a photo of me, multi-tasking in action. Taking a photo and listening to the Audio about the story of this grand and elegant room at the Chateau Vaux Le Vicomte, in France.

Multi-tasking is an acquired talent as it takes skill to do several things at the same time.

Multi-tasking is really key for us Bloggers to be productive as we use our different skills to create our best post. As a Blogger, we normally take our photos, plan our post, create our post, write our story and then the editing before the final presentation.  It is important to remember to use multi-tasking safely to achieve positive results, create our best work and our best productivity.

Lastly, the most important of all, is to have fun and to love what we are doing in order to be productive without really working.

  5. Thanks for sharing tips from your experience. As the saying goes, if you fail to plan, plan to fail. So yes, it's definitely important to remain organized and know how to channel your inspiration.
