Louis Vuitton Men's World

American Director Francis Ford Coppola and his daughter Sofia Coppola.

I was particularly touched by this Louis Vuitton Core Values photo of  American Director, Francis Ford Coppola and his daughter Sofia Coppola, with of course Louis Vuitton bags and accessories. This photo shows us the daughter looking up lovingly and respectfully to her father. Sofia is listening and learning from whatever her father is teaching her at that moment. As we know, Sofia is an accomplished Director herself. Also very stylish and even designed the Sofia Coppola collection for Louis Vuitton. This photo is so appropriate to celebrate Father's Day this Sunday, June 17th, here in North America.

I also dedicate this post to my late father. Just like Sofia,  I also looked up to him and learnt many things from him. Besides learning how to ride the bicycle, the three things that I learnt from my father are:  1)learnt to dress well and about Luxury Designers. My father is a very stylish man. When we were young, he always used to go to Rustan's, the premiere Department Store in Makati City, Philippines, to have his suits tailored, he shopped and wore Christian Dior men's clothing, wore his Dior sunglasses, loved to wear Lacoste t-shirts and treasured his Spring jackets even though the Philippines is a tropical country 2)when he was alive, he was the photographer in our family. He loved his Nikon camera and took our pictures all of the time. Now that he passed away, I have inherited that love of photography and of course using my own Nikon camera  and lastly 3)Love of travel and food. My father would not hesitate to travel anywhere and eat out whenever he fancy, always with his family for company. He loves food and most of all chocolates. I remember him being like a child  buying some chocolates in the Food Hall at the Marks and Spencer Store on Oxford Street, London.  I hope you will share with us the special things you learnt from your father?  I hope this weekend, you will also celebrate your Father and enjoy every moment with them.

I am featuring here the Louis Vuitton Men's Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. The collection here is inspired by my late father from his love of wearing sunglasses, spring jackets and he is the type who loved to carry his hand carry bag when travelling. He also loved a well made suit and comfortable shoes. I hope you will enjoy this collection.

My dear brother Patrick wearing his green Lacoste t-shirt and  Louis Vuitton sneakers in Damier Embossed leather. Like Father like son. My brother is a father of two adorable kids.

Happy Father's Day to all of  the Fathers!

Have a lovely weekend!

  3. Hi Madison of Fashion Tales, I seldom feature any Men's Collection. Thought to feature the Louis Vuitton Men's collection because it was close to my late Father's style and also a beautiful collection. Thank you for stopping by. Pamela
