Today, we welcome a Guest on my Blog, my friend and Toronto resident, Tony M. He enthusiastically attended the Yorkville Exotic Car Show a few weekends ago. I invited him to take the photos of the event and to write about it since I think it is more fitting for a gentleman like Tony to write about these exotic cars which he has so much knowledge about, dreams about and his favourite.
Thank you Tony for the photos and sharing your enthusiasm for our City with us:
Thank you Tony for the photos and sharing your enthusiasm for our City with us:
On a glorious Father's Day morning a few weekends ago, Toronto's Mink Mile, more commonly known as Bloor-Yorkville, rolled out its red carpet to welcome the 5th Annual Yorkville Exotic Car Show. Thousands of exotic car fans of all ages, flocked to downtown Toronto to enjoy this annual event in support of Prostate Cancer Canada.
Over 150 Classic and Exotic cars, including Porsche, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Jaguar and more, lined the streets of Bloor-Yorkville for this Exotic Car Show. Bloor Street closed from Avenue Road to Bay St. for the entire day. While exotics are a common sight in Toronto's upscale Yorkville shopping, dining and entertainment district, spotting endless fleets of them like this in one venue is not common at all. Toronto is such a vibrant City full of fun events throughout our Summer Season, so take your time to enjoy this hot weather as much as you can with your family and friends.

You will remember from one of my recent posts that I'm interested in cars and I would have certainly enjoyed this event with a wonderful and varied selection of pristine cars. All in a good cause too. Have a great weekend!
