It's officially Summer! It is also the official start of the outdoor patio season. It is the season where everybody and everything just comes out. There will be various festivals and influx of visitors from other countries to Toronto. Here are some patio settings from one of my favourite stores here in Toronto at Pottery Barn. Every time I come into the Store, I always get inspired no matter what the Season. I hope it will inspire you too and get you excited to prepare your outdoor patio at home. Spend more time outside in your backyard to start the barbeque and celebrate alfresco dining in style.
Here is the Natural theme in natural colours of acquamarine blue, brown, yellow and white.
For a romantic ambiance, set the table with these huge illuminating lanterns with scented candles.
In Style right now are these Glass Drink Dispensers matched with the Mason glasses for drinking and summer festive entertaining.
You can make fruit punch or just water with fresh cut lemons, cucumbers and lime to serve to your guests.

Make your own refreshing drinks and let your guests help themselves.
Stripes theme in red, beige, green and white. Then use blue and yellow plates with matching yellow glasses for contrast.
A very festive and colourful Summer entertaining on the Patio.

Lucky for me, this weekend is my Birthday weekend. My birthday this year actually falls this Monday on 24 June but I will be celebrating this weekend at the outdoor patio with family and friends. I will also be taking a short Blogging break. Who knows, I may be back sooner!
May you all have a fantastic start to the Summer!
Remember to enjoy the outdoors!
Great ideas; we had a short heat wave but now it's back to grey/rain. I will stay indoors instead. Well, I hope that you have a very enjoyable weekend and that you have great weather to go along with it. Happy celebrations.

Here's to Summer Entertaining!!
ReplyDeletePamela, I get the Pottery Barn catalogue in the mail. I hate receiving it, because I so want everything in there. They are such an inspiration! The restaurant I reviewed Monday on my blog had these mason jars. It's really cool that they have the dispensers. Love the blue and earthy tones blended together. Very pretty pictures. Hope you're having an amazing weekend.
