Thinking of Red and Medals

Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir of Canada during the Ice Dance Free dance at the Sochi Olympics.

Culminating the Full Moon this week is Valentine's Day and the Winter Olympics happening in Sochi, Russia. I enjoy watching the Winter sports on TV as it is the only time that we see all of the best Winter sports athletes gather together to compete for medals for their own Countries. These athletes love their winter sports and perform them well. The athletes tell us their stories through their sports. Here are some Canadian athletes who have won medals for Canada and have made us all proud. We wish all of the athletes all the best during these Olympic games. Also, don't forget to share the love to everyone.
The Dufour-Lapointe sisters from Quebec both won Gold and Silver medals in the Women's moguls.
Justine, Maxime and Chloe Dufour-Lapointe are sisters who are members of Team Canada and competed against each other in the Women's Moguls. Justine won a gold medal and Chloe won the silver medal.

Mark McMorris won Bronze medal in snowboard slopestyle despite a fractured rib suffered two weeks before the Olympics began.
Alexandre Bilodeau won Gold and Mikael Kingsbury won the Silver medal for the Men's Moguls Finals.
Charles Hamelin won Gold medal for the 1500 metres short track on Ice.
Team Canada during the Opening Ceremony.
These Olympic fans know how to have fun. For sure, they are not Canadians.

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking.
It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trust, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails...
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.

Happy Valentine's Day!

  3. Canada has totally been rocking these Olympics, I love it. So many great stories and events. Love Virtue & Moir, I don't mean to sound like a Debby Downer here but I think it's pretty clear already they will finish 2nd behind Davis & White (which is still a great result, but the writing is basically on the wall).
