Here Comes The Santa Claus Parade

Here in Toronto, our Christmas Season begins with the Annual Santa Claus Parade. It is the biggest parade ever in the World with lots of fun, marching bands, clowns, some horses and many other different characters as you will discover in this Parade Show.
Send in the clowns.
Smiling faces here including the Tiger and Geese.
There were waving flags, marching RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) and some lovely floats.

Now let us play the Toronto Star Scavenger Hunt for the 10 things to watch for in the Santa Claus Parade:
 Find an octopus playing drums.
Find a pig with a paint brush.
 Find an Elf carrying doughnuts.
 Find a skating polar bear.
 Find a golden horse.
 Find a white glittered moose.
 Find a Lego snowman.
 Find a hockey playing dog.
Find a cow and a calf.
Find a snow man with a broom.
Now, where is Mrs. Santa Claus?
Hooray, here comes Santa Claus! Did you find Rudolph the red nose reindeer?

Christmas Season begins in Toronto!
How did you do in the Scavenger Hunt in this year's Santa Claus Parade?

Have a fantastic weekend!

  2. Pamela, you made my day!:) Thanks for sharing all the photos! I love The Santa Claus Parade in Toronto, I was so much lucky to see it in person in 2011 and I felt like a children. I remember I watched it in Bloor Street (where there is a Tim Hortons) and was very amazed since I never saw a similar celebration before. Then, I searched on web and I found out is a tradition, a very old one, that every year is made. Wonderful, with all the Xmas songs and all the people, wish I was there! Also this year must have been fantastic, love the Santa Claus float so much! Have a good weekend dear! xo

  14. Look like so much fun Pamela, perfect for getting everyone into the Christmas spirit. I want to be in the parade. I would like to be either a Christmas tiger or I could wear my red jacket and join the Mounties!
