Summer Travel Essentials

Summer Bag from Holt Renfrew.

What are your summer travel essentials? Living in Toronto requires adaptation to all four seasons.  This summer requires more usage of sunscreen and less foundation depending on your type of skin. As for me, these are my summer travel essentials. For my trip to California, I am bringing more sunscreen both for my face and body. For my face I use the Estee Lauder Daywear Sheer Tint Release with SPF 15. Underneath it, I use the Chanel Hydramax Purete Serum and the Day Cream with SPF 15 as my moisturizer. The Estee Lauder Sheer Tint Release is their tinted moisturizer. Estee Lauder released a new version of this product called the Estee Lauder Anti-Oxidant Beauty Benefit Creme with SPF 35, shorter name is the BB Creme. I love wearing Tinted Moisturizers now rather than wearing a full foundation because the Tinted Moisturizer is very light to the skin and doesn't melt in your face when the temperature is hot.

I am sharing here my summer travel essentials. I normally bring the travel size of the products that I use to save space and weight. Especially now with all of the weight restrictions in airlines. What do you think of the transparent bag from Holt Renfrew? Isn't that chic for summer? I also bring my Chanel sunglasses. I hope when you are traveling, that you still follow your skin regimen that you follow at home and that you still take care of your skin especially when under the sun. But most of all, enjoy your summer vacation and stay beautiful!

I love bringing these Chanel travel size products when I travel.
From left to right: 1. Day Cream with SPF 15
2. Sublimage Comfort Cleanser
3. Night Creme - as the winter weather here in Toronto makes my skin dry even during summer.
4. Chanel's Eye Make-Up Remover is awarded by Elle Magazine as the best. It doesn't hurt your eye when you use it and removes eye-make up effectively.
5. Brightening Moisture Lotion - a new product of Chanel that I will try this time.
6. Brightening Moisturizing Cream
7. My favourite Hydramax Active Purete Serum. I use this during all four seasons. It makes the skin super soft, moisturize, radiant and saves me from having acne.
8. Perfume sprays are Chanel No.5 Premiere and Chanel No. 19 which are my favourites.
9. Chanel Corrector Eye Lift Cream even when traveling.

Here are other products that I use which I also recommend:
1. Clinique Clarifying Lotion.
2. Clinique Sunscreen  SPF 30 which I love.
3. I'm a loyal user of the Estee Lauder Daywear Sheer Tint Release SPF 15 (now called BB Cream SPF 35). This product smells like cucumber when you put in on your face. So light and refreshing!
4. I also use the Clinique Super City Block SPF 40. This product you can use on its own on top of your serum and moisturizer. Just add pressed powder on top and you are ready to go!
5. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer.

I am not a make up or skin care expert but I usually use these products together or I interchange them. I know for sure that it will not be good for your skin to use everything together. But it is important to protect your skin from the sun and other pollutants.

Then of course, it is important to bring some Make-up when traveling. I usually keep it simple with my Chanel lipsticks in Liberte (coral) and Belgravia (Golden pink). This time I am inspired by Chanel's Coral Love lipgloss and also the Chelsea lipgloss(pink shade).

These are Chanel's new Skin Care products: The Le Blanc Serum and Foam Cleanser. The line also have a Brightening Moisturizing Cream. These products are usually for Brightening but also adds  softness to the skin.  I am also impressed that Chanel provides these empty travel size bottles to fill it with serums or cleansing lotions or other creams instead of bringing the whole bottle. Just  ask for these travel size bottles from any Chanel Cosmetics counter.

For Eye Make up I use the Chanel Limited Edition Beiges (left) which can used for the eyes and also as a blush powder on the cheeks. It is shimmery which is perfect for summer! I love the Chanel Quadra Eyeshadows in Prelude. I love the colour combinations of using light, shimmery eyeshadow with dark and matte colour. Everything is there in one container. Then of course, I finish off with the Chanel eye-liner which is a habit I still keep from high school. I guess old habits never die!

So these are my Summer travel essentials. I know, you will think I am Chanel obsessed. But I love Chanel! The ladies at Holt Renfrew are so kind and generous to give me some of these travel sizes which I can bring when traveling.  I try my best to keep my skincare and beauty regimen simple, light and at the same time taking care of my skin too. I hope you will share your tips for a summer travel essentials?  May you have a safe and happy travels this summer.
