Rome Shopping: Valentino & Fendi

Shopping in Rome is one of the best in Italy. Rome is not the Fashion Capital of the World but it has the Fashion Headquarters of Valentino and Fendi. These are one of  two great fashion houses in Italy. One of the most famous  places in Rome is the Spanish Steps. The Via Dei Condotti which is ed at  the bottom of the Spanish Steps is lined with most of the High end Fashion Boutiques.

Spanish Steps is always full of people, watching the passersby and also the beautiful view of Rome. Above and Below the Spanish Steps are Churches, Hotels, Restaurants and the shops!

Via Dei Condotti is at the bottom of the Spanish Steps. This street is lined with High end shops from both sides - Christian Dior, Furla, Yves St Laurent, Prada, Louis Vuitton to name a few.

VALENTINO

Valentino Garavani founded his Fashion House in 1959. He was the designer to many celebrities and also to Royalty around Europe and the Middle East. When Valentino retired in July 2007, he was replaced by two Italian designers, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, who continues to this day to design  beautiful and high quality Valentino Clothes, Bags, Shoes and Accessories.

FENDI

The Fashion House of Fendi started in 1925 as a leather and fur shop. Through the guidance  and design of its Creative Director, Karl Lagerfeld, the company has grown to be one of the most coveted Fashion brand in the world. Their Clothes, Bags, Shoes and Accessories  truly represents great Italian design and Craftsmanship. I am currently loving Fendi right now!
