Weekend In Nice

This weekend let us have a relaxing visit to Nice located in the South of France. It is the largest City in the French Riviera with the prominent Promenade des Anglais stretching along its coast facing the Mediterranean Sea. Luckily, we stayed at the luxury hotel, Le Negresco which is located along the Promenade des Anglais and just a short walk to the beach. This Summer heat is making us just a bit lazy to go sightseeing so there is nothing better to do than to stay close to the water to feel the breeze and to stay cool from the heat. There is also an abundance of fresh seafood here in Nice. When we got hungry, we ventured in the city to try their best and freshly cooked moules-frites cooked in white wine and herbs.  This summer take the time to be close to the water to enjoy every moment and to just relax.

    I spent a month in Nice many years ago. I love it there. Did you visit the flower market? Oh yes, and the food. Magnifique!
