Patio at The Port

Here in Toronto, our Summer season is the time to hang out in the Patio. We really make the most of it as we only have the few months of Summer to really enjoy dining and drinking al fresco. One of my favourite Patios is here at The Port located in Pickering, east of Toronto. It is actually a hidden gem as it is located at the foot of Liverpool Rd right beside Lake Ontario. It is quite a romantic place to have dinner and also a fun place to dine with family or friends. We come here to enjoy the view and of course their food and drinks. Luckily, the Chef change the menu according to the season and available produce. Here is a glimpse of the Patio scene during this Summer season. We will enjoy it before the next season comes.
The Bar.
The Port serve the best steaks, burgers and also seafood pasta on this eastern part of Toronto.
From the Summer menu, I tried the Grilled Chicken wrap with their own tortilla, zucchini, carrot and bacon together with fresh tomato and green bean salad.
The Port is right beside the Swans Marina.

  18. Girl, I hear ya! We barely get 2.5 months of summer, so when the summer is nice, the entirety of Calgary is out on Patios'. It's almost maddening, like an outdoor festival, but it's so much fun! I've been to Toronto several times but have never been to the port. I need to make a note of this the next time I go (hopefully summer time) because it looks beautiful!! I think patio is totally a Canadian thing haha!

  27. Fantastic Miss P, what an amazing location to eat at during the summer. I think I would have chosen the same dish that you did, it looks very tasty. The restaurant reminds me of a place in CA that we visited and enjoyed some incredible crab cakes, although my brain is not in gear today and I can't recall its name. Nearly the weekend.....hoorah! :)
